From North/West of Hartford, take Route 44 east toward Hartford. Continue past New Hartford about 5 miles.  When the river appears on your right, bear right onto Route 179 south.  Follow Route 179 about 6 miles.  About 100 yards after the Route 4 intersection, look to your left for the race sign at the beginning of a small access road going down toward the river.

From North/East of Hartford, take I-84 West, through Hartford about 7 miles. Take Exit 39 onto Route 4 west. Continue on Route 4 about 6 miles, going into the center of Unionville.  Contiinue on Route 4, crossing route 177.  Cross the river.  In approximately 2 miles you will see a sign indicating Route 4 turning left, with 179 going straight.  About 100 yards before the turn, look right for the race sign next to a small access road going down toward the river.

From South/West of Hartford, take Route I-91 north to Exit 22N (Route 9 North.) Go about 6 miles through New Britain, bearing left following route 72 west.  At the traffic light, take a left onto New Britain Avenue. Go to the second light and take a right onto Cooke Street.  Continue on Cooke for 2.5 miles where it will merge with Route 10 north.  Take Route 10 two miles.  At the 2nd light, take a left onto Route 4 west.  Contiinue about 3 miles on Route 4, crossing route 177.  Cross the river.  In approximately 2 miles you will see a sign indicating Route 4 turning left, with 179 going straight.  About 100 yards before the turn, look right for the race sign next to a small access road going down toward the river.
